Incredimail has a feature that allows you to
easily save Signature Boxes in stationery, but Outlook Express does not have this built
in feature.
Sig boxes are a lovely and very light way to show your work.
The boxes are all made with text code.
Any stationery stored in Outlook Express is stored
in
C:\Program Files\Common Files \ Microsoft Shared\
Stationery
OE stationery consists of an html file and the background
graphic.
OE does not have the ability to save the "sig box code" at part of
the stat.
It saves only the background when you save someone else's stationery
from OE.
But!
There are several ways to include a signature box in
OE,
but the easiest I've found:
Save a pre-made html file with the sig box already coded
into the html.
There arethousands of places to download stationery for OE,
but I've never seen one for sig boxes. Til now.
I made this stat using NoteTab.
The files included in therar fileare the
background tile, the cat gif, and the sparkles.
These graphics did not have to be included, but I figure
if I am going to make a stat from plain text,
I may as well make one worth looking at.
First things first. Save the downloadable rar files to the left by clicking on the images and unzip it
into:
C:\Program Files\Common Files \ Microsoft Shared\ Stationery
Open your new stat in OE, by clicking the dropdown file to
choose a stationery.
Choose 001sigcat.html
Here is the first thing you will see:
Highlight the text that you want to replace.
Add whatever
text you want to fill in the boxes.
You can replace the background, the graphic at the top
using the Format Feature in OE after you open the stat.
Here is a sample of what I wanted to do with this stat.
I erased the top line and replaced it with "Just Think"

I copied the verses of the poem into the left hand box
and copied the wonderful
signatures Judy created in the right hand
side.
This is one simple sig stationery and hundreds can be
made.
You can, of course, delete the cat and sparkles &
add your own.
Make the background to match the graphics
you
are sharing.
I will share more stats in Toys as I make
them.
